Matanuska–Susitna College in Palmer, Alaska, north of Anchorage, is part of the University of Alaska Anchorage system. The college began in 1958 as Palmer Community College, changing its name in 1963 to correspond to the Matanuska-Susitna Borough where it is located.
Mat-Su College is a student-friendly campus offering small class sizes and state-of-the-art facilities, including paramedic classrooms with a fully equipped ambulance bay, updated science labs, and a 520-seat performing arts theater. ACADEMIC YEAR 2023.
Jul 21st, 2012. This is a Junior college from University of Alaska Anchorage. You can not get a 4 degree, but an Associate degree. The classrooms fill up pretty well. Instructors are lay workers who posses a 4 year degree or better. The quality of instruction the in classroom varies considerably. Library is small, old and behind the times.
