The Mathematics Help Center (aka the Math Center) is dedicated to offering free tutoring support to students enrolled in a wide range of math courses at the University of Oklahoma (namely courses with the MATH prefix, including all first-year mathematics courses).

MATH 2513. Discrete Mathematical Structures. 3 Credit Hours. Prerequisite: MATH 2423 or MATH 2924 or concurrent enrollment. A course for math majors or prospective math majors. Provides an introduction to discrete concepts such as finite sets and structures, and their properties and applications.
The Math Center is primarily dedicated to offering support to students enrolled in University of Oklahoma mathematics courses at the calculus level or below, although we do provide tutoring for certain 3000-level classes.

If you are interested in applications of mathematics to modeling real-world problems, you can work with a faculty member to take part in the annual COMAP Mathematical Contest in Modeling. You can work as a tutor in the Math Center or as a learning assistant in one of the active learning classes.
