Visitors may park in the UM blue lot M28 on Washington Heights for free after 5pm weekdays and on weekends. Visitors with UM blue passes may park at M28 and M95 on Washington Heights, or in M34 on Observatory. During peak season, parking near Nichols Arboretum is very difficult.

This is a lovely botanical garden with indoor and outdoor spaces featuring tropical and arid conservatories, bonsai, herbs, and more. If you're interested in plants, it's well worth a visit. We spent about an hour and covered most of the garden. Admission was free.
