Mattie Earp, also known as Celia Anne Blaylock Earp and Mattie Blaylock. Mattie was considered to be Wyatt Earp's common law wife. She was with Wyatt during his days in Tombstone, where he became known for his involvement in the O.K. Corral gunfight.
Celia Ann "Mattie" Blaylock (January 1850 – July 3, 1888) was a prostitute who became the romantic companion and common-law wife of Old West lawman and gambler Wyatt Earp for about six years.

24 Ιαν 2010 · Mattie Earp ended up somewhere in the Old Pinal Cemetery after she took a fatal dose of laudanum to ease her pain. In reality, we don’t know much about Mattie. It’s believed she was born in Iowa in 1850 and headed West at age 16. She probably worked as a prostitute as she shifted from town to town.

1 Ιουλ 2007 · Mattie’s body lies in the historic Pinal City Cemetery near the town of Superior, Arizona, a few miles east of Apache Junction (see map below). Her grave is the first one on the right at the 8×8 upright post.
