8 Ιουν 2013 · You could get a savage in 308 and swap out the barrel from 308 to 22-250 with nothing more than a barrel vise and action wrench and a 22-250 go and no go guage. And you would have the benefit of having a much stronger action and the accu-trigger.
4 Οκτ 2010 · Replacement Swedish Mauser barrels from Lothar-Walther. I've got a .308 gas gun with a L-W barrel that shoots way under MOA consistently. A trip down one of these barrels with a borescope is an experience. Given that L-W hones their chambers as opposed to cutting them, their throats are unlike any you'll ever see.
17 Μαρ 2019 · Mauser took a C/96 upper, cut the barrel off, and then threaded a new 7.63mm barrel into the barrel extension. They then masked the area of the cut and threading with the distinctive “hash” marks seen on this pistol.
4 Ιαν 2010 · I'd really like to replace the barrell with a new one- preferably a heavy barrel. I've heard the mauser actions are very stout, so I don't think I'll need any replacements or upgrades there, unless the experts at TFL suggest otherwise.

31 Μαΐ 2005 · Matching small ring Mauser barrels & ac kombi - the barrel should fit as both the 95 and 96 are small ring actions. However, the rim diameter on the 6.5 Swede is a hair larger than that on the german 57mm rounds (6.5x57, 7x57 and 8x57).
