Make the new barrel with shape and form of an original, weld it in place and install a new front sight on the barrel. Both options are available in 7.63×25 or 9mm cambering. In case of a 9mm, outside dimension of the barrel has to be 0.520 or more, if it is smaller, only new barrel is an option for 9mm conversion.
13 Φεβ 2006 · There are a few pistol smiths who can replace/reline the barrel to either 7.63 Mauser or 9mm Luger - safely. The cost for that is $150.00 USD IIRC. Any metal that has been chewed away by "sidearm vermin" can be replaced (after the always necessary complete and careful preparatory work).
