21 Ιουλ 2024 · This issue has been resolved in version 16.0.119. We've fixed this issue in version 16.0.119 of our software for Windows, which was first made available in June 2024. When your software is updated to this version, it successfully syncs your device info back to My Account.

24 Νοε 2013 · The message being "This app can't run on your PC. To find apps for this PC, open the Windows Store". I have browse the Window Store and the closest app is McAfee Pledge which I have downloaded. But Surface RT still has problem opening the file folders in the encrypted USB.

The answer from Przemyslaw Remin is mostly correct, however, upon reboot, "McAfee File and Removable Media Protection" starts again even if it is disabled from the Startup unless you have disabled the Encryption Core Services. Open Task Manager. Move to [Start up] tab.
