The answer from Przemyslaw Remin is mostly correct, however, upon reboot, "McAfee File and Removable Media Protection" starts again even if it is disabled from the Startup unless you have disabled the Encryption Core Services. Open Task Manager. Move to [Start up] tab.
Turn on the allow showing of passwords option and verify it is being printed correctly. It can be the KB is not mapped correctly, shift isn't being recognized, or numb pad doesn't work. I've even seen where right shift works and left doesn't.
