30 Μαΐ 2019 · For what it's worth, $400 barrel, $350 action, $350 bravo, $355 trigger, and I'm into a sub moa rifle for less than a lot of people spend on an action. I can afford to replace barrels sooner, or go to a Lila next time when I'm not buying all the other parts.
12 Δεκ 2020 · I have heard a mix bag of reviews on the McGowen barrels. I ordered one last year simply because of the lead times on when I needed it. I have been able to work up loads in that 3/4 MOA range without a ton of trouble. My question is, are the Shilen, Benchmark, Brux etc. that much better than the McGowen? Will it be that noticeable of a difference?

1 Ιουν 2008 · I shot this group from the prone w/ bipod and squeeze bag support, in the grass/ gravel behind the 100 yd walkway on our range at work. The rifle is a Savage 116SS action, the McGowen barrel, B&C Duramaxx stock (bedded), Nikon BM 4.5-14x42 SFMD, and Harris bipod.
25 Νοε 2014 · This is a featherweight rifle and my accuracy expectations moving forward are not extremely high. However, I do want something that will shoot with good consistency and hopefully in the 3/4"-1" range. Will McGowan get me there?
