The Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation establishes standards, oversees an accreditation program, and awards accreditation to compliant Florida law enforcement agencies.
Florida law enforcement agencies and Inspectors General in Florida can attain accredited status through the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation, Inc. (CFA). The Commission is comprised of 15 volunteer members, one of which is a representative appointed by the Office of the Chief Inspector General.
