The Means Testing System by the Ministry of Health in Singapore provides a platform for assessing eligibility for healthcare subsidies.
This form is used for patients/ clients to undergo household means-testing1 for the purpose of application for various government subsidy schemes (see descriptions below). Besides means-testing, patients/ clients will still need to meet all other eligibility criteria to qualify for any schemes.
Means-test is a method to calculate the subsidies you will receive from the government when you use care services. It ensures that patients from lower-income households receive more subsidies than those from higher-income households.
1 Απρ 2024 · What is the Means Test? The Means Test assesses your financial circumstances to determine if you have limited means. From 1 April 2024, applicants for legal aid must meet the following criteria: (a) The average Per Capita Gross Monthly Household Income (PCHI) must be $1,050 or lower for the last 12 months prior to the application;
