Emma measures 5 angles. Shown below are the measurements and the type of angle. Match each measurement to the correct type of angle. (4) Measure the angle shown above. .........................°. (1) 8. Here is a list of words connected with angles.
In these printable measuring angles worksheets, we will learn to measure angles using a protractor. We have already learnt that two rays originating from a common end point form an angle. The magnitude of an angle is the amount of rotation of one arm about the vertex to bring it to the position of the other arm.
Measuring angles worksheets contain examples and problems based on angle measurement in mathematics. Angles are measured in degrees (o). Angles larger than a straight angle but less than 1 turn (between 180° and 360°) are called reflex angles.
Use the greater-than ‘>’ and less-than ‘<’ signs to compare these angles. (If you have trouble comparing the angles visually, you can use a protractor to measure them.)
Angle measurement and classification worksheets. Students measure angles with a protractor and classify them as acute, obtuse and right angle. All worksheets are printable pdf files.
