17 Νοε 2012 · I've used the metal Multi-Scale powder baffle on a Mec Sizemaster. I don't use it anymore because I mostly use Hodgdon Clays and International Clays powders and it doesn't seem to help with metering consistency, and may even hurt it a bit.
11 Μαρ 2009 · If you do use a baffle hold the down stroke at the bottom for a second before you raise the handle to give the powder bushing time to fill. The speculation is that the baffle flow rate isn't as fast as no baffle and therefore doesn't fill as fast.
8 Ιουλ 2022 · The only powder baffle I use is the red PC baffle with the spring loaded tip. Great for reducing powder leakage. I don't believe any of them lead to more consistent powder drops.
3 Φεβ 2022 · Does anybody know if the Red PC Powder Baffle for a MEC is available anywhere? I thought I'd give it a try to see if I can get my powder drops a little more consistent, but they seem to be either out-of-stock and/or discontinued.
The PC Powder Baffle designed for reloaders is a one-piece construction made of durable, high-impact plastic. The spring loaded insert prevents powder leakage between baffle and shot/powder bar.
