22 Ιουν 2024 · Breaking the rules of the dreaded 9-antic nerf with a lesser 3% nerf on top of tremendous base stats and a frightening moveset combined with its Tier-6 status makes Mega Rayquaza one of the most dangerous raids in the game to date.
To accurately indicate Mega Rayquaza's position, I include the unreleased Mega Mewtwo X, Mega Heracross and G-Darmanitan Zen as references. Among 66 unique combinations, there are only 2 cases Mega Rayquaza can't handle: both neutral to flying and resisting dragon, with a double weakness to fire.
27 Νοε 2014 · TBH megaray is the best RP groudon check on offense (i.e. it can do the most damage), and unless you want to sacrifice major options its hard to beat. Running reflect on klefki can alleviate the issue, but at the cost of your klefki, so be wise. I have a feeling I've read some parts of this thread before...
Rayquaza needs to learn the flying-type charged move Dragon Ascent in order to Mega Evolve. You can permanently teach it Dragon Ascent using a Meteorite, a "Dragon Ascent-specific Elite TM". How to obtain Meteorites:

Tyranitar's blessed typing in Rock- / Dark- allows it to act as one of the best Rayquaza-Mega counters that you can get.
Rayquaza (once king of shuffle, now fallen from grace), is now in a weird place where he’s not as good Mewtwo Y or Shiny Metagross at weekend Meowth, but some people report some surprisingly positive results with a team of Mega Rayquaza, Mega Boost+ Zygarde 10%, Any Eject++ Pokemon and a blank slot.
