2 Δεκ 2021 · I've had my MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020) for 6 months. I constantly get warnings from CleanMyMac that the RAM is full, even when only basic apps are being used like Brave browser, Notes, and Todoist.
I'm using a brand new Mac mini M1 16GB RAM for about 3 days now. Updated to Monterey yesterday. Today i noticed that even with most usual apps closed ( Mail, Brave, Skype, Whatsapp, Telegram etc ) the memory is still hovering around 5GB but without a visible suspect on the Activity Monitor!
5 Οκτ 2022 · macOS only showcases the "Force Quit Applications" window when it's completely out of memory, including physical RAM and virtual memory on your boot drive. When you see this window, you'll need to force quit non-critical applications to stabilize your system.
3 Δεκ 2021 · If you’re running macOS Monterey and you are experiencing the “Your system has run out of application memory” error message, then know that this is a known problem with macOS Monterey and it will likely be fixed in an upcoming system software update.
