The Faculty Mentor Training Program (FMTP) supports mentorship by creating pairs of senior faculty with junior faculty in the domains of teaching, research, and overall career development.
Implementation of a system-wide formal structured mentoring program was associated with improved faculty engagement, satisfaction, and quality of mentoring across Health Sciences. FMTP improved mentoring competencies for all faculty and motivated faculty to change their mentoring behavior over time.
