1 Μαρ 2015 · Among 802 unique abstracts, 42 studies reporting on 40 unique programs were selected for inclusion in this review. Of these, 28 programs were specifically designed to facilitate the development of junior or untenured librarians.
ALSC Mentoring Program seeks to match individuals with an interest in library service to children together. A one-year program, participants have the opportunity to apply twice a year (once in the summer, once in the fall).
The LAUC-SC Peer Mentor Program is intended to serve as a welcome to newly hired librarians (including temporary librarians hired at 50% time and above) and to help them become oriented to our environment, especially in (but not limited to) areas such as reviews and getting involved in LAUC.
