Would mentors and mentees naturally know one another? How could we easily create opportunities for them to know one another?
Making mentors and "mentees" is also making disciples; it takes vision and the understanding of Scripture. It gives the church a purpose to form leaders who grow other leaders as an outgrowth of their growth.

What Is a Christian Mentor? A Christian mentor is a Jesus follower who helps others follow Jesus in a one-on-one setting. They regularly spend time with their mentee (the person they mentor), sharing stories, teaching, and encouraging their spiritual growth. Christian mentors also often spend time praying and reading the Bible with their mentees.

Typical mentoring involves periodic meetings in which the mentee shares his needs and goals for growth and the mentor provides practical input to help meet his mentee’s need. In between meetings, both individuals may have “tasks” to complete for each other. THE ROLE OF THE MENTEE Mentees (or protégés) have a desire to grow or mature
