Many San Antonio Post members have benefited from mentorship as mentors or mentees. A mentoring relationship is a learning and development partnership driven by the mentee to improve an area of their professional or personal life.
The Mentorship Program will provide benefits to both the Mentor and Mentee. The Mentor can share their experience and expertise to the Mentee and at the same time be exposed to new and different perspectives that can create an increased capacity to self-reflect.
The goal of mentoring is to help mentees gain the skills and confidence to be responsible for their own futures, including, and with an increasing emphasis on, academic and occupational skills. Our mentors are dedicated, loving and caring individuals that what to help provide hope and help transform the life of a student.
