Using an intercultural leadership development approach, this program seeks to provide a welcoming environment and supportive foundation to assist degree-seeking international students in a successful personal and academic transition into their first year at Florida A&M University.

ISMP is a nonprofit mentorship program designed for international youth, college, and graduate students. We offer enriching workshops and small group or personal mentorship sessions that cover practical topics such as English skills, study habits, and personal development areas like relationships, character, and leadership.
The Mentor Year Program is excited to offer grants for both Mentors and Mentees to seek professional development opportunities. Grants are for up to $250 USD per person. Up to twelve grants will be distributed annually, six for Mentors and six for Mentees.
