10 Σεπ 2013 · If you do not want to use Mercury HP gear lubricant, choose any good synthetic 75W-90 (non-limited slip) type oil. No one should use NON-synthetic gear lubricant in a Bravo. Also, ensure that you change it at the end of the boating season, prior to winter layup.
Just changing the lube will not fix a drive! The Bravo One holds about 3 quarts of Mercruiser High Performance Gear Lube . More if you have a remote Drive Lube Reservoir.
24 Αυγ 2021 · As the drive heats up gear lube is pushed into the reservoir system, as the drive cools the gear lube is then replaced by the reservoir system. The system also ensures the drive is topped off in the event of a leaking shaft seal etc.
