Buy Bus Tickets. Park Free & Ride Free. Bike to the Fair. Fast, easy service from a free parking lot near you. Express buses serve the State Fair Transit Hub, which is on the west side of the fairgrounds near West End Market. Bus departure times are approximate. All Express service is wheelchair accessible.
METRO TRANSIT STATE FAIR EXPRESS BUS SERVICE Park free and ride a bus for a small fee from six locations throughout the Twin Cities noted by numbered blue dots on the map on next page. Round-trip tickets can be purchased in advance through Metro Transit’s app or website for $5; cash-only fares can be purchased at boarding locations for $6.

These routes also serve the State Fairgrounds and you can use cash, the Metro Transit app, or a transit pass to pay your fare. All regular-route buses are wheelchair accessible and have bike racks.
Serving the south metro area, MVTA provides free parking and direct bus service each day of the State Fair from three locations noted by gold dots in the map below: 7 – Eagan Transit Station, 8 – Shakopee (Southbridge Crossing Park and Ride), and 9 – Burnsville Transit Station.
Metro Transit State Fair Park & Ride in Bloomington, MN offers convenient parking and transportation services for fairgoers and commuters alike. Located at 82nd St & 24th Ave. S, this park and ride facility provides a hassle-free way to access the State Fair grounds and other destinations in the area.
State Fair Express Bus service features free parking and a direct bus ride to the fairgrounds for a small fee from farther-out suburbs around the Twin Cities. Express Bus service is provided by Metro Transit, Minnesota Valley Transit Authority and SouthWest Transit.
