8 Μαρ 2010 · I was thinking about goign with like a 91-93 this time, so that i could have some extra $$ and maybe get the greddy kit. I have heard ups and downs about this kit, and that it lacks power etc, or its a waste.
12 Αυγ 2007 · I decided on the Greddy turbo kit as I can't see me going past about 200bhp (time will tell ), it's an all-in-one package which uses a Mitsubishi TD04 turbo so you can, if you want, put it on straight out the box and drive off, and it is available in the UK for a reasonable amount of money.
The base GReddy kit was designed to add some oomph to the stock 1.6L Mazda Miata so we wouldn't be outrun by minivans. =) It came with all the parts necessary to run 4.5psi of boost. It was put together as a low boost kit built around the Mitsubishi TD04H-15G turbo.
12 Νοε 2002 · 4.5-5 psi turbo kit for NA6 Miatas. Kit included: exhaust manifold, turbo unit, intake pipes, airfilter, nuts and bolts, oil lines, gaskets, instructions 9in Japanese, fuel pressure regulator, fuel lines, and vacume hoses. Over all I'm satisfied with the product. Took about 10 hours of easy work to install.
Reply. Drogdar • 1 min. ago. Get on miata turbo dot net. It probably has an FMU and doesn't have an IC because its running low boost (like, under 10 psi). You basically have two options (assuming you have a stock ECU): leave it alone, it's been reliable so leave it alone.
7 Νοε 2022 · The only reason someone would use that kit now is the carb sticker. There's likely someone who would buy the whole kit. Go ahead and do as others have suggested and buy a intercooler and then a computer and injectors.
1 Φεβ 2012 · I straight away fitted a cooler and got advice direct from 'bandaid master' Olderguy on MT on his experience with the stock GReddy kit at various boost psi. So, tantop injectors, Bipes fitted and pump pressure is a healthy 80-85psi. Wideband is confirming reasonably good AFRs.
