The base GReddy kit was designed to add some oomph to the stock 1.6L Mazda Miata so we wouldn't be outrun by minivans. =) It came with all the parts necessary to run 4.5psi of boost. It was put together as a low boost kit built around the Mitsubishi TD04H-15G turbo.
12 Αυγ 2007 · I decided on the Greddy turbo kit as I can't see me going past about 200bhp (time will tell ), it's an all-in-one package which uses a Mitsubishi TD04 turbo so you can, if you want, put it on straight out the box and drive off, and it is available in the UK for a reasonable amount of money.
8 Μαρ 2010 · I'm pretty sure that most guys will steer you clear of buying a new Greddy kit just so you can immediately scrap 2/3's of it and upgrade. For the $1200 Greddy kit, you could buy a Begi Manifold/DP/AFPR, and a rebuilt T25.

1 Φεβ 2012 · Surprising and very worrying all at the same time. I straight away fitted a cooler and got advice direct from 'bandaid master' Olderguy on MT on his experience with the stock GReddy kit at various boost psi. So, tantop injectors, Bipes fitted and pump pressure is a healthy 80-85psi.
14 Φεβ 2014 · The really insane ones, with stroker kits, fully ported and polished heads and monster turbos, have been reported to go well over 700 hp. By that time you will have $10,000 plus just in PARTS added to the engine, however. So go get a small turbo kit from a reputable company like Greddy or FM, and strap that sucker on. You'll be glad you did.
