12 Αυγ 2007 · I decided on the Greddy turbo kit as I can't see me going past about 200bhp (time will tell ), it's an all-in-one package which uses a Mitsubishi TD04 turbo so you can, if you want, put it on straight out the box and drive off, and it is available in the UK for a reasonable amount of money.
8 Μαρ 2010 · I bought an NA6 earlier this year. It came with a Greddy turbo kit installed. I think all that remains of the original turbo kit by this point might be the turbo / waste gate actuator and maybe the downpipe. I am still in the learning curve, but I am glad to share anything I have learned thus far.
Expect 30-40 hp gain. No engine management system comes with the kit. Engine management with the stock kit involves simply retarding the timing to 6 deg, and adding an additional fuel pressure regulator. (Search for "Bipes" or "E Manage" for additional mods).
12 Νοε 2002 · Bolt in turbo kit for the Miata. You get the turbo (mitsuishi TD-04H), GReddy exhuast manifold, aux. fuel regulator and hose, clamps, etc. You'll need and HKS elbow (or entire powerflow intake) as the GReddy tubro out of the box tends to pop off the stock intake system under boost.
The base GReddy kit was designed to add some oomph to the stock 1.6L Mazda Miata so we wouldn't be outrun by minivans. =) It came with all the parts necessary to run 4.5psi of boost. It was put together as a low boost kit built around the Mitsubishi TD04H-15G turbo.
