The base GReddy kit was designed to add some oomph to the stock 1.6L Mazda Miata so we wouldn't be outrun by minivans. =) It came with all the parts necessary to run 4.5psi of boost. It was put together as a low boost kit built around the Mitsubishi TD04H-15G turbo.
8 Μαρ 2010 · If someone gave me the Greddy kit today, I'm pretty sure I'd wind up spending what an entry level turbo kit from present vendors costs, just to make it really streetable. However, this depends greatly on your DIY skills. If you're good at fabricating stuff you can make anything work. The Greddy turbo itself is a good, dependable unit.

Comes with a turbo exhaust manifold, turbo, downpipe, intake pipes, air filer assembly, and misc. hoses and fitings for oil and vacuum signal. Took a while to get (4 weeks...was on back order to Japan) but still quicker than a BEGI kit (I have heard 10 weeks).
12 Αυγ 2007 · I decided on the Greddy turbo kit as I can't see me going past about 200bhp (time will tell ), it's an all-in-one package which uses a Mitsubishi TD04 turbo so you can, if you want, put it on straight out the box and drive off, and it is available in the UK for a reasonable amount of money.
23 Απρ 2022 · These kits are available with either high end Garrett GT turbos, BW EFR turbos, or universal T25 5 bolt flanges. Pricing starts at $947 for downpipe/manifold via Kraken . (My full kit, including: intercooler, full exhaust, and injectors was ~$4000.)
1 Φεβ 2012 · I straight away fitted a cooler and got advice direct from 'bandaid master' Olderguy on MT on his experience with the stock GReddy kit at various boost psi. So, tantop injectors, Bipes fitted and pump pressure is a healthy 80-85psi. Wideband is confirming reasonably good AFRs.
This kit includes the proven ISR RST25/28 turbocharger for a complete bolt on setup. This setup has made 210 rwhp on 8psi of boost on a completely stock BP 1.8 engine. This kit includes a modular hotpipe that works with ISR HKS, GREDDY and TIAL flanges.
