Ohio Race Tracks. With no less than eight well maintained and well supported horse racing facilities, thoroughbred, short quarter horse and harness racing takes place throughout the year in the State of Ohio.
Ohio is home to seven race tracks with live racing. Three Ohio race tracks host thoroughbred and quarter horse races, while the other four specialize in standardbred harness racing. Racetracks licensed by the Ohio Lottery Commission may also offer video lottery terminals (VLTs) and sports betting.
