You'll need to complete an application, provide fingerprints, and pay a fee to obtain a CPL. You must also complete a firearms safety training course.

If you’re purchasing it from a federally-approved dealer, you’ll only need the PSR, which has to contain the seller’s name and details of your pistol.
A License to Purchase is not needed for anyone with a valid Michigan Concealed Pistol License, if your buying from a licensed dealer, for firearms dealers purchasing from wholesalers, or for relics, curios, antiques, etc., not made for modern ammunition.
