19 Μαρ 2020 · I am having an issue where whenever I try and video conference, my internal microphone doesn't pick up any sound. I have plugged in some headphone and set that as the microphone, and that also doesn't pick up any sound.
Check if the microphone or headset with a built-in mic is working by following these steps. To test the internal microphone of your Dell laptop, run the SupportAssist microphone test. NOTE : Certain headsets do not have a built-in microphone.
17 Οκτ 2020 · XPS 15 7590, microphone not working. I've only had my XPS 15 7590 for a couple weeks. All of a sudden, the microphone does not work for my remote meetings. I've tested it with the Audio device to record and with Zoom and other video conferencing apps. No luck.

4 Οκτ 2020 · XPS 15 9560, microphone not working. The problem: My laptop won't recognise any types of microphones. I've tried airpods, hyperx cloud 2 (via jack and usb) and the built-in one. The laptop uses Waves MaxxAudioPro v1.0.112.0, and I've selected headset in the pop-up menu. Drivers are fresh.
