12 Απρ 2022 · XPS 15 9500 internal mic not working. Hi, I have a XPS 9500 about 13 months old. I tried calling dell because the mic does not work. I was told that since the machine was not under warranty anymore, I was going to be charged 99 dollars for technical support.

13 Ιαν 2021 · The apps have access to the mic, I have to microphones available: Stereomix Realtec and Microphone Realtec. None of both is working. When I do the windows troubleshooting, it says that my audio services "don´t answer".
19 Μαρ 2020 · I am having an issue where whenever I try and video conference, my internal microphone doesn't pick up any sound. I have plugged in some headphone and set that as the microphone, and that also doesn't pick up any sound.
Audio driver issue. An outdated or missing audio driver can cause issues with the device’s audio. One way to fix this is by forcing the device to restore default driver settings. First, navigate to "Device Manager," then scroll down and click "System Devices."
Hi all, I got the XPS 9500 recently (1 month) and I have found the internal microphone does not pick up much audio at all. I've tried on Zoom and on setting up my microphone in the settings. Adding headphones with a microphone seems to work.
I installed an audio driver update on Dec 27 from Dell SupportAssist (Realtek High Definition Audio Driver - A07 - 598.21 MB). Now, audio isn't working properly -- it plays a static-y/hissing noise when trying to play any audio from any application.
9 Αυγ 2018 · Open the Settings App. Go to Privacy - Microphone. Make sure 'Allow apps to access your microphone' is turned on and make sure the appropriate app is also set to On. Then in Settings, go to Update & Security - Troubleshoot - Recording Audio. Run that troubleshooter. ___________________________________________________________________
