Cause. You may have set your Microsoft 365 work account as a secondary email address on your Microsoft Live account. Resolution
You'll know it's legitimate if it's from the Microsoft account team at account-security-noreply @accountprotection.microsoft.com. Using Sign-in activity, you can see when and where your account has been accessed—including successful sign-ins and security challenges—on the Recent activity page.
Security alert. We think that someone else might have accessed the Microsoft account pg*****@gmail.com. When this happens, we require you to verify your identity with a security challenge and then change your password the next time you sign in.
If you get an email from Microsoft account team and the email address domain is @accountprotection.microsoft.com, it is safe to trust the message and open it. Microsoft uses this domain to send email notifications about your Microsoft account.
