Sign in to the Security page with your Microsoft account, and then select Change my password. Sign in. You may be asked to verify your identity by entering your password or a security code we’ll send to your alternate email or phone number. Enter your current password.
From the Password security tile, select Change my password. On the Change your password page, enter your current password and then enter your new password. For additional security, select the optional checkbox which prompts you to update your password every 72 days.
If you know your password, but just want to change it, go to account.microsoft.com Security tab, and select Change my password. If you know your username and password but they have stopped working, read My username and password have stopped working.
