Sign in to the Security page with your Microsoft account, and then select Change my password. Sign in. You may be asked to verify your identity by entering your password or a security code we’ll send to your alternate email or phone number. Enter your current password.
If you can’t sign in to your Xbox after you’ve changed your Microsoft account password, it may be because your console has not received the new password for your account. To resolve this, try the solutions on this page.
From the Password security tile, select Change my password. On the Change your password page, enter your current password and then enter your new password. For additional security, select the optional checkbox which prompts you to update your password every 72 days.
