19 Δεκ 2022 · I'm using four Windows 11 PCs, and all of them use modified keyboard layouts created with Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator 1.4. I've added several keys using the combination ALT+letter and created multilingual keyboards.
I installed Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator in "C:\MSKLC" so there is no space in file directory but it's still doesn't work, although it worked for others. Anyone know how to fix it? This thread is locked.

In summary: I have created a custom keyboard layout with Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator 1.4 in Windows 10, it is working but only partially. It cannot: combine two keystrokes into one to type a "combined letter", e.g, "¨"+"u" = "ü".

Even if some customers feedback that MSKLC can be re-installed and used in Windows 11 system, I am afraid that it cannot be used normally in ARM devices because there is no ARM-compatible MSKLC version.
