Windows Remote Assistance lets someone you trust take over your PC and fix a problem from wherever they are. Before you can use it, you'll need to enable access. In the search box on the taskbar, type remote assistance, and then select Allow Remote Assistance invitations to be sent from this computer from the list of results.
Quick Assist communicates over port 443 (https) and connects to the Remote Assistance Service at https://remoteassistance.support.services.microsoft.com by using the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). The traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.2.
Use the Windows Quick Assist app to get help with a computer problem from family or friends or help them out. Quick Assist uses a remote connection, so remember to only use it with people you trust, since they can see your computer screen or control your PC (if you allow it).
