The Mid-Continent Tower is a 36-story skyscraper located at 401 South Boston Avenue in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma. At 156 meters in height, it is the fourth-tallest building in Tulsa and fifth-tallest in Oklahoma.
The Tulsa City-County Library Research Center at the Central Library houses in its map collection several sets of GLO Plat maps. These maps are hand-drawn and at their most detailed include trees, lakes, rivers, railroads, houses and fields of different types.
Midtown is a largely residential district near the very heart of the city, consisting of historical neighborhoods, parks, superb shopping and dining. This area consists mostly of homes built from the early 1900s to the 1950s and has a wide variety of American styles.
The Gilcrease Museum, the Philbrook Museum of Art, the Tulsa County Historical Society Museum, the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame, the Greenwood Cultural Center, the Tulsa Air and Space Museum, and the Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art (formerly the Fenster Gallery of Jewish Art) are located in Tulsa.
