24 Ιαν 2006 · I`m looking for a baseline to get me real close with the Mikuni HSR45 Jetting on my 95 build. Forget the dyno`s boyz., nobody here knows how to use them in my area. (So i only have you guyz to help me out here) They look at me funny when i ask them about AFR.
25 Ιαν 2009 · 45 Mikuni for 127 inch Motor. I've spent sometime in my life with Mikuni carbs. Something like 35 years. One thing I've learned is that the HSR flat slides are very flexible in setup for various motors sizes and levels of work done to them.
25 Ιουν 2018 · Switched from S&S G to a Mikuni HSR45. Was tired of the 22 mpg of the S&S and decided to switch to a Mikuni HSR 45.....had to raise the front of my tank a couple inches to accommodate the Mikuni....change breather set ups and change filter and support also.....looking forward to much better mileage.
13 Μαρ 2022 · These carbs are more akin to PHH or in their jetting system (pilot, main, air) and they also have an accelerator pump, interestingly 2 HSR 45s will flow as much air as dual PHH44s with 37mm chokes.
11 Αυγ 2015 · Hey guys, just put on my mikuni 45. I bought it used off of a Harley. Right now jetting is 145 main. 20 pilot. To big of a jet in the accelerator pump not sure what it is but it is bogging it out. It is set to come on as late as possible. A/f is at 2.5 turns out.
2 Αυγ 2015 · Looking for some opinions and real time experience with the pros and cons of running a Mikuni HSR compared to an S&S SUPER E. I have a SUPER E on a V96 S&S and for the most part everything seems to work together fine.
13 Μαρ 2022 · I am looking at installing a pair of Mikuni HSR 45s on my 260Z, just wondering what Main jet and Pilot jet sizes you have finally settled on and are using. Great looking car you have, very nice job. Cheers from the Land down under.
