I want to edit the MIME type settings for Safari so I could use MediaWiki's method to automatically edit text in an external editor, or more specifically, so I can change the associated application for the application/x-external-editor MIME type.
7 Φεβ 2022 · I configured S/MIME encryption and signing for Mail on macOS Monterey 12.2. Even when I'm not trying to do any sort of crypto operation, I get a prompt reading "macOS wants to make changes. Enter an administrator's name and password to allow this." as pictured below.
