The eternal portal is the primary means of transport between the end and the overworld. An incomplete, unlit portal can be found in The End. When activated, a matching portal will be generated in the Overworld at the same x, y and z co-ordinates (or as close as possible).

We got the "better end" mod forge port and a couple others. Problem is, it generates a new way of getting to and from the end. It generates a "eternal_portal_structure" in the end itself instead of the normal end Gateways, except the one spawn via the Ender dragon.
Eternal Crystals are required to activate an Eternal Portal, allowing passage between the End and the Overworld. One Eternal Crystal should be placed on each of the six eternal pedestals that surround the portal.
BetterEnd has a custom End generator and custom structures for the Central Island. With our new generator End islands will have different shapes, terrain, will be on different height. Inside islands you can find caves with unique resources.
