I've found the solution to this problem!! To fix the dead skindex editor, go into the skin-grabber, type in your username (or a friend or whoever) and click on the "edit skin" button off to the right side, the skin would be loaded into the editor which should work as it used to before it broke.
Skindex Issues. I have just recently finished up a skin, and I thought it would be good enough to be put on the Skindex, but whenever I do choose file, it tells me please use a proper skin file. It's saved in .png format, and was made using SkinCraft on newgrounds.com.
This issue started 6 months ago for me and I still haven't been able to access the skindex. Which is annoying. I really liked using the editor on there. If anyone ever came up with a solution, please let me know. It is absolutely driving me insane.
I can't click anything, can't edit anything, can't upload skin from PC. It's been like that since yesterday, I don't know what to do. Is it my fault or is it like that for some other people as well? The skindex site works normally, it's just the editor that is broken. Archived post.
