28 Ιαν 2007 · Here is a quick tool post grinder I whiped up to get a good bearing fit on the ballscrews. It's a $28 Harbor Freight 1/2 hp (what it says on the lable, but more like 1/15) and a angle to hold it to the tool post. The thing works well.

This light-duty mini lathe tool post grinder is specifically designed for the SIEG mini lathe and perfect for the hobbyist. To install it, simply replace the compound rest. The bottom of the mounting foot is approximately 50 mm (2") below the center line of the grinding wheel.
