I recently upgrade from a Samsung KS9000 to a QN95C Neo QLED as I didn't want to deal with the hassles of trying to avoid burn in on OLED. High end mini led TVs compare very favourably to top end OLEDs and I am so happy and have no regrets in my choice.
I'm looking to get the newest iPad pro, and I was wondering what the difference was between the mini LEDs for the latest generation, the LEDs of the previous generation, and the OLEDs of the iPhone, since it's become such a huge selling point.
If you get a mini-led with enough dimming zones, the true black advantage of OLED is mitigated quite a bit. Plus, the TV I have (TCL QM851G) gets much brighter than my 42" C2. So right now, for media I like watching on the mini-led over the OLED.
24 Δεκ 2023 · I think OP's point is for large size TVs (>=98 inch), mini LED TVs have beaten OLEDs in the overall performance/cost ratio. I own both Sony 77A80J OLED and Hisense 100U8K, and I prefer watching movies on 100U8K due to the larger, more immersive screen with higher peak brightness and more impactful HDR image.

28 Ιουλ 2022 · I am torn between the XR 65K95K mini-led and the XR 65A90J OLED. Based on feedback on this forum the mini-led would be perfect for bright environments. Is the 65A90K OLED really really that much "dimmer" than mini-led and not appropriate for my environment ?
