So when it comes to espresso wood stain on pine, the results can be a little different than usual because the darker color on pine can hide the uneven grain density as the espresso is already denser in pigments.
1 Φεβ 2018 · We put pine floors in last year and I stained them with a colour called Special Walnut from minwax. It's a beautiful medium shade that doesn't read yellow at all. Infact, the grain in some of the boards take on a blue/gray colour.
11 Ιουν 2012 · An espresso stain is hard to achieve on soft woods like pine without appearing blotchy and inconsistent. One can work with hardwood boards, but you will lose the rustic character and inexpensive cost that come with pine.
