My Minecraft Windows 10 edition *cavegame* got technical issues, I decided to reinstall it. Now, when I have reinstalled Minecraft the game was running and everything but there where some files/folders missing. I looked everywhere and couldnt find them.
You may need to reinstall the locally installed files that Minecraft puts into place. To do so, start Minecraft, press 'Options' (above the 'Login' button), Press 'Force update!', then press 'Done', and login to Minecraft. See http://i.imgur.com/5b09B.png for visual instructions. This should remove the mods.
You may have it installed in a nonstandard location. Launch the game, go it to settings and open the resource pack folder. From there you should be able to see the path it is installed in.
4 Οκτ 2015 · According to this website, the Minecraft folder can be found in C:\Users\(your pc username)\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang\ (the string of random characters could vary, I assume).

2 Νοε 2021 · Download Minecraft.exe (if you don't have it) and move it to C:\Games\MinecraftL\Launcher. Create an empty text file called Minecraft.bat (or another name of your choosing) in the C:\Games\MinecraftL\ directory.
25 Μαΐ 2015 · The easiest way to find it then is to open Minecraft, log in, click Options… → Resource Packs → Open resource packs folder. This will open a Finder window showing you a (probably empty) folder. With this Finder window at the front, press ⌘+↑. That will navigate up into your Minecraft folder.
