You may need to reinstall the locally installed files that Minecraft puts into place. To do so, start Minecraft, press 'Options' (above the 'Login' button), Press 'Force update!', then press 'Done', and login to Minecraft. See http://i.imgur.com/5b09B.png for visual instructions. This should remove the mods.

18 Απρ 2023 · if you are using the Microsoft Store version of the Launcher, then that is located in its own folder inside C:Program Files\WindowApps and that is the most protected folder in Windows to ensure the integrity of all Microsoft Store apps and games, that folder is not accessible.
If you update you launcher and your profiles (i.e. OptiFine, Fabric, ...) are missing, you can still recover them from %appdata%\.minecraft\launcher_profiles.json and copy them to the new %appdata%\.minecraft\launcher_profiles_microsoft_store.json file.

12 Απρ 2024 · Here’s how: Make sure there is only the launcher_profiles_microsoft_store.json file in your .minecraft directory and it is your used version. Delete launcher_profiles.json if present. Run the command mklink %APPDATA%\.minecraft\launcher_profiles.json %APPDATA%\.minecraft\launcher_profiles_microsoft_store.json.
