  1. 11 Μαρ 2023 · Mission Bay Launch Ramps. There are five boat launch ramps in various locations throughout Mission Bay. If you have a large boat, I would suggest South Shores and Dana Landing, as the three other ramps cater more towards jet skis and smaller craft.

  2. There are four concrete public launch ramps at various locations in the bay. Personal Watercraft may also be launched from Fiesta Island except in the special use section of Hidden Anchorage and at the northern end where beaching of all watercraft is prohibited.

  7. The best place to launch a boat into the water is Dana Landing Boat Ramp in Mission Bay. Even though it is small with only 4 ramps, it is open 24 hours a day. It is busy but not hectic and rushed-like Shelter Island is or full of noisy hobby planes buzzing around like South Shores Park on Sea World Drive.
