The best place to launch a boat into the water is Dana Landing Boat Ramp in Mission Bay. Even though it is small with only 4 ramps, it is open 24 hours a day. It is busy but not hectic and rushed-like Shelter Island is or full of noisy hobby planes buzzing around like South Shores Park on Sea World Drive.

4 reviews and 16 photos of DE ANZA COVE BOAT LAUNCH RAMP "I've only used this ramp a couple times, and it's okay. I think because of it's convenient location near the Visitors Center, the parking lot gets quite full with non-boaters (tourists in RVs). There's 4 lanes available, and 1 small dock.
31 Ιουλ 2024 · Best access to America's Cup Harbor (as far as I know) is from the Shelter Island launch ramp area, especially if you're down to launch from the rocks near the Bali Hai. Other easy launches on the big bay are Spanish Landing, Glorietta Bay, J St. and Liberty Station.
27 Μαΐ 2021 · Searching the web it looks like Dana's Landing is the biggest launch area and possibly the only option. I'm thinking it might be a long wait to get in if it is full and if it is only option for launch ramp. Let me know how you get your boat on Mission Bay.
11 Μαρ 2023 · Mission Bay Launch Ramps. There are five boat launch ramps in various locations throughout Mission Bay. If you have a large boat, I would suggest South Shores and Dana Landing, as the three other ramps cater more towards jet skis and smaller craft.
Mission Bay has many beach launching locations. Some with ramps... others straight off the beach on the side of the road (Fiesta Island). Check the "Places to Sail" forum.
