If while traveling through any of the above parishes, you wish to report a crash or need emergency assistance, you may contact the local law enforcement by dialing "9-1-1" or if you have a cellular phone, you may contact Troop E by dialing *LSP (*577).
This service can now be used to perform a real time search using either a case number, driver license number, license plate number, or involved party last name. Reports will be available 10-15 business days after the accident, or once they are approved.
Accident reports are normally available at Troop E Headquarters within 7 - 10 business days following an accident. If you wish to acquire an accident report in person, we recommend that you check on a report's availability before arriving at troop headquarters.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is the central traffic crash data collection agency for the State of Missouri. Data on both rural and urban traffic crashes is made available to this agency. Law enforcement agencies throughout the State provide the Highway Patrol with copies of their crash reports.
Requests for report copies of crash reports, including certified copies, that occurred in 1997 or later can either be forwarded to the Highway Patrol headquarters of the troop where the motor vehicle crash occurred, or requested from the Highway Patrol headquarters nearest you.
