Oregon offers spring and fall bear hunting seasons. Fall bear is an entirely general season hunt, while spring season is now all controlled hunt. There are no longer first-come, first-served SW Oregon bear tags. Spring bear controlled hunt applications are due by Feb. 10.

Hunters who applied should login to their account at the MyODFW.com licensing page and look under Recreational Portfolio / Controlled Hunts to view results, or call the Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife Licensing at 503-947-6101 and select option 1.
31 Μαρ 2021 · Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) released its forecast for the spring bear hunting season, with the deadline for people to purchase tags for spring bear being Wednesday, March 31.
