Use this tool to help calculate a student's grade point average or GPA and see its impact on their cumulative GPA.
Grade Point Average (GPA) is a number that reflects the grades earned in all classes with a grade of: A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, C-, D+, D, D- or F. A student with a higher GPA has, on the whole, an academic record with higher grades than does a student with a lower GPA.
All grades received in second and subsequent attempts will be included in GPA calculations. No more than 15 semester hours will be dropped from the calculations of the student’s GPA. All attempts of a given course will appear on the official transcript with the grade(s) earned.
